Impact of mental health service cuts

Today I’m going to talk about a notice of THE GUARDIAN newspaper. This notice is about the impact of the mental health service cuts. The article is about how some factors have a negative impact on the patients. The author comments about the scarcity of the psychiatric institutions. According to him, it has been harmful for wellbeing patients; because they need good conditions for have treatments in good conditions. He explain it, considering that at least 1,711 psychiatric beds have closed since April 2011, most of them in acute adult wards, older people's wards and psychiatric intensive care units. Besides it the author explains the impact of the negligence of treatments on patients, above all considering that the long distance patients are from home is detrimental to the wellbeing of them because of the disruption to their support networks. In others words, if the treatments don’t have support of the patient’s family, may have negative consequences for the patients, making reference about “The Ship of Fools”. On the other hand, the author considerate the importance of patients monitoring because of the care on society.

In my opinion and considering my career, I think it is a good article, because the author explains many important things about the psychiatric patients care.

Anime

Hello! 

Today I’m going to talk about my movie interests, specifically about two genres or companies, Disney cinema or anime. In my life I have seen many movies of Disney like Rey León, Mulán, Aladdin, Up, about others. These movies have been very funny. I laughed a lot when I was kid. Including today I enjoy this movies. I have seen anime cartoons too when I was a child, but not from cinema or videotape, only from TV. At four or five o clock approximately, Cartoon Network or ETC TV use to show slum dunk, dragon ball z or Los super campeones, detective conan, Caballeros del Zodiaco, my favorites anime´s series. The history of this series was very enjoyable and addictive. I waited anxiously see them.

I´m not a fan of anime, but today I have met many anime movies, above all Miyasaki, a Japanese film director, manga artist and producer of movies like La princesa Mononoke, El Castillo Andante, El viaje de Chihiro, Mi Vecino Totoro.  This movies are very interesting and enjoyable, because Miyasaki is capable of blend the reality with a magic world or add mythic object or personages without abusing of the mystic elements. The perfect mix, above all because the histories ever leave a teaching or leave us thinking.

I hope you have seen anime´s movies. Are very very interesting.

Hello! Today I will talk about one of my favorites countries. 

One of countries that i would like to visit is Ecuador. I’d like to meet his wonderful woods and natural monuments. I’d like to know his culture and people`s costumes, the gastronomy and his public politics oriented to generate changes for a fair and egalitarian society.  I`d like to stay there many time. I considerate that country is one of the most beautiful countries of the world, because of his wealth native and his diversity languages. 

The quechua, originary language, even remain in many communities, above all in native villages.

I`d like to study there, specifically in the University of Quito, because in that country there are discussions about the social context of Latinoamerica. That university imparts a post grade for study Latino American public’s politics, subject about colonization and decolonization and knowledge about imperialism in the continent. 

Maybe in two or three years I will be studding one of my passions, social psychology with many academics and intellectual of this continent.

Today I’m going to talk about my ideal job.

I´m in the last semester of my career and we have to choose some place to get some professional practice. i would like work in COSAM La Pintana, in a program about addictions. I like the psychotherapy, but I dislike to spend all day in an office. I would like to do fieldwork with the community. I have always liked the social psychology and its application in the community psychology theory as well its practice. I would also like to teach and do research about this topic, especially about the public politics and their influence on the collective imaginary.

To do this kind of job, I think I need to be emphatic, persevering and above all to be organized. I have experience of attending patients; besides I am working in a community program in the psychology center or University of Chile. With regard to the theory I am interested in, I am a member of the Latin American community Studies Unity. We work in an investigation about the impact of the public migration politics on the people.

My ideal work can be difficult if you don t have the necessaries knowledge to treat complex cases in complex conditions, above all in a context of social vulnerability.

Fooooooooooooood !!!!!

I think i am very good for eat. When I was young, i was fat. Every summer vacations traveled with my family to visit my grand parents. My grand mother, ever cooking me many piece of pizza. I love the pizza, specially his recipe.  When I grew, I lost a lot of weight. Today I enjoy eat so much without gaining weight.

There are many food that I like. One of my favorites places to eat, is Allegretto. I like so much the icecream and taste different flavors. Also, they sell others foods like sandwiches and cakes of different flavors.

Other place I like for eat, is any restaurant with chinese food. I like the traditional menu, "chaufán" rice with mongolian meat or poultry chapsui. They sell wantang too, that is like a cookie fried with a piece of meat. Very delicious.

In general, i like many foods. But I must say I dislike the mix between sweet flavor and salty. For example, I dislike the peruvian food, also have many chili. However, I'm always willing to try new foods. Why not? We need meet many flavors for speak about good food. I hope you like the same food.

My Hobbies

Hello! today i will like to talk about one of my hobbies. I have two big pastimes I practice in freetime. One of them is the oil painting. Since many years ago i practice this activity like a form to express my emotions. I began this pastime when i was in the school. First I perfected, drawing with just a graphit pen. I was very meticulous in the details. Then, when I had more age, I began to practice with de oil painting. I bought my first canvas at the fifteen years. That was not so easy, because the instruments are very expensives.  Today I enjoy painting specifically faces of people. My  last paints ready, are John Lennon and Kurt Cobain.

My other pastime is play the guitar. I love hear every type of music and, of course i enjoy play that with my guitar. I play with more dedication, songs of Ismael Serrano, Silvio Rodriguez, Alejandro Filio, about others. I play latin rock too, since Charly García to Fito Paez and Gustavo Ceratti. I love the argentinian music. I learned this pastime when I was in the school too, looking to my friends. I never had a teacher who taught me  to playt this musical instrument. Today, I use the internet, specifically "youtube" to learn how to play any music with the tutorials.

Hello!

Today I will talk about the reason because I am studying psychology. When I finished school, I decided ingress to study architecture at the University of Chile. I did not finish the career; I was only one year for personal reasons. As I couldn´t take the PSU (University selection test) that same year, I worked a year to pay a pre university and prepare for the test. I was always interested to understand human behavior from an individual and collective sense. As one of my role in the social area of ​​psychology, Martin Baró said, “the psychology should address national problems, developing from the social and historical aspirations of the popular masses" That is my greatest concern. I think, the psychologists have the responsibility to challenge an individualistic and competitive lifestyle, rethinking another way to raise a fairer system.
