Hello!

Today I will talk about my city, Santiago. I suppose you know it. If you live here too or if you ever visited this place, probably we think the same. In my opinion, Santiago have two faces. One of them is in the air when we breathe, in the streets where we walk: the contamination. This city grows and grows every year. More cars and buses fill the spaces spilling toxic substances every day. More and more buildings touch the sky and bloke the sunlight without a regulator plan, occupying the few green areas of the capital. The patrimonial constructions and monuments are a joke for the big business.  

The other face is in the people. According to the statistics, this city has one of the most high depression rates. If you see the people´s faces in the street, they appear not be happy. We are like a machine when we go to work or study.

Maybe, one of the few good parts, in my opinion, is the discontent latent in the social movements in the last time. If you are a tourist, I recommend you see these social events. Visit his cultural events, the street circus in the parks, the popular fairs and festivals; appreciate the paints in the walls.
